The local papers here publish the police log each day. I quote:

July l4 D&D Police contacted a man at ll-44 pm walkong in the 200 block of Main St and arrested the dipso for allegedly being a little top heavy in public.
Accident. Police responded to an injury accident at 8-26 pm in the 500 block of Napa Ave. According to logs a 42 year old woman allegedly hit a construction fence, hit a city tree and then hit the gas. She was taken to hospital for treatment and cited under suspicion of DUI. It’s unknown if the tree will be called to testify
Police received a report of a man with Alzheimer’s running amok in the 2900 block of Main St. Logs indicate they took the confused fellow to county mental health for 72 hours observation that isn’t likely long enough to fix what ails him”
