ID never have thought it PDF Print E-mail

What a muddle we’re in with the ID cards.  They’ll be expensive and useless but for some reason we won’t give them up.
Worse! We’re muttering about making them compulsory for students, beneficiaries and foreigners presumably to smuggle them in by the back door.

Latest idea is to postpone them until after the election.  So in 2010 we’ll stand on a platform of, ‘Vote Labour. Get ID cards’.  A winner!!
