Listen All Of Y'all This Is Sabotage PDF Print E-mail

My period of Blog silence on part hasn’t be appreciated. It’s been enforced. A Tory Banana Skin group has set out to sabotage Labour’s insurgent left. Jon Cruddas has been tripped and torn a ligament. I’ve got a black eye and a broken rib.
It could’ve been a celebration of 60 years of the NHS. Except that the NHS is useless with ribs. No x-rays. No binding. No outward and visible signs of suffering. Just a hope that the pain will only last six weeks and a then laugh from the doctors.

Six weeks. Six weeks for the economy to stumble further into recession. Gordon Brown will continue not to notice it, the crazed Bank of England will continue to squeeze the nation’s balls. The banks will be so busy trying to rebuild their capital base they’ll refuse to lend money to anyone. In six weeks they’ll fuck the country. And the Government.

We’re on a downhill slide. It will kill a Government with (now) only 22 months left. It will bring to power the Tories who we’ve assiduously paved the way for.

Labour Governments don’t get gratitude. Our good work goes to the masses not the classes and are spread so thinly people aren’t motivated to fight for them. This Government faces an even gloomier prospect. It hasn’t helped the masses all that much. The classes, to whom it’s been very generous, hate it anyway. Now they’re moving in fir the kill with the media vultures.

Wake up Gordon. Announce that we’re in a mess. Say that you’re going to lead us out of it by common sacrifice, tax for the better off and a big dollop of Keynes to boost the poor and low paid. The ones who’re really suffering because they can’t economise on restaurants, foreign trips, a smaller car and not buying that £5000 handbag for another month. The people Gord the people. Gerron wi’it. Or go.
