European commitments on global warming. All Targets. No bullets. How many Eurocrats does it take to change a light bulb? 25 Heads of State.

Our lads and lass in Iran brings back Mort Sahl’s Korean War joke. If captures tell them nothing except your name, number and the exact location of your unit. For that now read Sat.Nav position.

What better symbol for an economy run on spec, asset inflation and credit ……… than casinos, super, sizeable and semi large, used as the instrument of regeneration. Once it was science, ideas, IT, innovation. Now it’s gambling.

Can nothing stop the remorseless rise of Super Liam, that giant of the barricades who stands between us and the barbarous hordes at the gates? Last week Liam came up with his masterstroke: £1000 fines for overstayers, a “white list” of white countries; Squads hoyking people. off planes to Britain and age limits for arranged marriages.
Liam’s the toughest of the tough. Thank God he stands between this country and the swampers. Unless they come from EU countries. In which case put out the welcome mat. Liam has the guts to send ‘em back to Darfur, Zimbabwe, Congo Republic or anywhere else where they’ll get killed. You need guts to do a job like his. Other people’s.

Mandy has gone into a hissy fit, attacked Gordon and said he doesn’t want another term. Is Blair going to make him Baron Brussels (Pro Tem) in his pink list equivalent of Harold’s Lavender list?

It’s nonsense to say that Gordon knackered the “best pension system in the world” by the £5 billion annual heist on dividends.

The pensions system was ruined by the unnecessary pension holidays (which the Tories forced them to take) to increase profits, by the fall in the stock market returns, and by promising returns the companies couldn’t afford.

In the circumstances of 1997 he was right to levy dividends, and once imposed they can’t be reversed.

Great news for Gordon. Little Liam has deserted the sinking ship Blair and Patricia, and swum across. Got to think of his career.
